Frequently asked questions

Why 1080 × 1920?

1080 × 1920 (9:16 aspect) is the recommended size for YouTube Shorts. Uploads at this dimension avoid platform-side cropping or upscaling that would reduce quality.

What if my source image has a different aspect ratio?

If your image is a different shape, resizing alone will stretch it. For best results, crop the image to 9:16 first using our crop tool, then resize. Or accept a slight stretch if it's just a small mismatch.

Will the platform compress my image after upload?

Yes — every social platform re-encodes uploads. Pre-resize to the exact target so the platform's compression has clean input. Compression artifacts compound when the platform has to both resize *and* compress.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. ImageSuite runs entirely in your browser. Your images never leave your device.
