Are my files uploaded to your servers?

For free tools: no. Compression, resize, crop, convert, watermark, blur, photo editor, rotate, filters, color picker, meme generator, collage, image-to-PDF, and PDF-to-image all run in your browser. Files never leave your device.

For Pro AI tools: yes. AI generation, upscale (Pro), background removal (Pro BiRefNet), photo restoration, cartoonify, object remove, and background replace all need server-side GPU compute. Your image is sent to our endpoint, forwarded to Replicate, processed, and the result returned. The image is not stored long-term — Replicate's policy is to delete prediction inputs and outputs after 1 hour by default.
