It might. 30 KB is a very aggressive target — fine for tiny thumbnails or avatars, but typical photos may show visible compression artifacts. If quality matters, try a more relaxed target like 200 KB or 500 KB instead.

PNGs of photos compress poorly. If your source is a photo saved as PNG, convert it to JPG or WebP first using our format converter — you'll get a much smaller file at the same visual quality.
